ABSN Learning Center Locations
Our occupational therapy assistant program brings an accessible OTA education to a region near you with learning centers in California, Texas, Minnesota and Virginia. As a student at St. Catherine University, you’ll complete a series of 12 skills labs at your nearest location in a real-world rehabilitation setting.
You will work through six core areas of occupational therapy practice at each location with a cohort of dedicated peers. Skills labs at St. Kate’s have a 12-1 student-instructor ratio, allowing for more personalized instruction to help prepare you for the fieldwork portion of your OTA education.

Skills Labs Locations
Virginia
St. Kate’s offers skills labs at two historic locations in Virginia: Norfolk and Fairfax. In close proximity to beaches, museums and some of the country’s most historic monuments, both locations are home to a variety of attractions.
California
Our skills labs in California are in two of the state’s most exciting cities. Our location in San Diego offers stunning views, beachfront attractions and many cultural offerings. St. Kate’s location in San Jose, meanwhile, is centered near the exciting advancements and culture of Silicon Valley.
Texas
We offer skills labs in three of Texas’s largest metropolises: Houston, San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth. San Antonio is home to the Alamo, Spanish colonial missions and the riverwalk, so there is plenty to explore. Houston is one of the country’s most diverse and fastest-growing cities, filled with culture, a haven for foodies and the origin of the U.S. space program. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is the intersection of modernity and history. Dallas provides all of the attractions and amenities of a major city, and Fort Worth celebrates arts and culture, while elevating the region’s past with its Stockyards district.
Minnesota
St. Paul is the sibling of neighboring Minneapolis and the second half of Minnesota’s Twin Cities. It plays host to St. Kate’s skills labs in close proximity to multiple leading healthcare providers. Filled with charming architecture, unique cultural experiences and outdoor delights, St. Paul stands on its own as an exciting city to explore.
