St. Catherine Skills Lab Partner

Our partnership with Genesis Rehab Services allows students in our occupational therapy assistant program to complete their 12 scheduled skills labs in an advanced rehabilitation setting that features all the common tools of the OT trade.

As one of the largest and strongest rehabilitation organizations in the United States, Genesis Rehab Services makes the hands-on learning component of our OTA program as accessible as possible for students.

Did you know?
You don’t have to live in California, Texas, or Virginia to participate in our OTA program. You just have to be willing to travel to our skills lab locations within one of these states 12 times during the program.

Our skills labs have a student-to-instructor ratio of 12 to 1 to ensure you receive personalized instruction and immediate feedback in a close-knit clinical education setting. In addition to teaching you core OTA skills, our instructors help you develop the behaviors and attributes required for success in the OT profession, which include:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective use of time and resources
  • Proper use of constructive criticism
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
